Oakley Business Solutions are a leading provider of sales portals for computer value-added-resellers.
Our initial brief was to stabilise their existing systems which were causing periodic downtime in the services they provide to customers.
We quickly set about reconfiguring their existing systems, including implementing completely new methods of database backups and maintenance. We then performed an indexing analysis of their databases and reindexed where we deemed appropriate.
As performance and stability improved, we searched for further gains, this time analysing poorly performing code and rewriting it using more efficient algorhythms.
Throughout our assignment, we transferred additional skills to the Oakley team to enhance their future development quality.
